Martin has over 20 years management experience in consumer sales and marketing. He has worked in Unipart, Express Dairies, Wella Haircare and Spillers Foods, including a spell as Fred Flourgrader!
For the past 8 years, Martin has been involved with the Investors in People Standard as an adviser and assessor, working with a wide range of organisations from Securicor Cash to the Royal Engineers as well as many non profit organisations and small businesses.
He works for Quality South East as a Practitioner Developer helping to train and develop new assessors. (see links page)
Since 1985, Martin has been a tutor at the Leadership Trust, one of the countries foremost providers of leadership development. Their emphasis is on developing self-awareness, self-control and self-confidence in the leadership role and learning how to get the best from the teams we lead. (see links page)
He is a registered adviser and assessor for Investors in People specialising in team building, motivation management development and business planning and evaluation.
Martin is married with two grown up children and his interests include swimming, walking and reading.
After working as a Samaritan volunteer, including three years as a shift leader, Martin started to train as a self supporting minister in the Church of England. He is now licensed to Christ Church Woking, and is Dean of Chapter XIII, the fraternal for Anglican ministers combining ministry with a "day job".
